I should have told you about my wish list...

I'm trying to get together 130 NEW towels, face washers, toothbrushes, toothpaste, pajamas  and a picture books for my orphanage.  Each parcel will have the child’s name on it and will be especially for them. I have given myself seven months to get it all together and over to Bali, sooner would be great. I am only one single Mum so any help, practical advice, or donations of even one face washer would be very much appreciated. Most of these kids have never had anything new given to them.

Most orphanages are run with help....This one was started by Ibu and her late husband many years ago with no help or government assistance.  Ibu is now aging and does everything for the children on her own, I don't know what will happen to the kids when she goes.  My goal is to help them long term obviously, this is just a few basic items they don't have of their own that we all take for granted everyday.

June '08 update

Thank you so very much to all those wonderful people who have supported my small good deed.
I have altered the wish list slightly in that books have been exchanged for exercise books for writing and drawing in and cakes of soap.  I would also love to add a soap container for each child.

We still need more of everything (mostly small size towels). If you are able to donate any items I am happy to collect where ever possible.

Your one item makes a difference, IT REALLY DOES….
